In this ninth art work the artist closes the “Diván” series. The earthy bottom with upper corners creates an atmosphere of mystery and reflection. At the center, a spectrum of blue-green light radiates captivating energy. On a floating platform, a divan occupies the center of the composition, bathed in the light emanating from behind it. In front of the divan, a three-legged table supports a vase that seems to have a life of its own. On the couch, four strange beings, as if from another world or the imagination, represent the family. One of them has an orange face and is dressed in blue, while the ones in the middle are green and red respectively. Above the couch, four even stranger beings appear, which could represent the imagination or the deepest fears. One of these beings appears to be a divinity, adding an element of transcendence to the work. This composition invites the viewer to explore the limits of the imagination and reflect on the fears that lurk in the depths of the human being.
